Allstate Foundation Purple Purse along with Serena Williams Team up to Finish Household Aggression and Fiscal Misuse

NORTHBROOK, Ill., June 22: Allstate Foundation Purple Purse revealed Serena Williams, tennis champ, businessperson and sponsor, will assist as the program's new ambassador. In her responsibility, Williams will nurture responsiveness of the frequently unseen part fiscal exploitation plays in keeping women stuck in insulting affairs and advise the community to aid break the sequence of household aggression.

Approximately eight in 10 Americans (78 percent) are uninformed that fiscal exploitation is a type of household aggression. To tackle this absence of consciousness, The Allstate Foundation is beginning a fresh social experiment-based short film, "Lost Purse."

The film offers a preview into the life of a household aggression victim via her lost purse. It sparkles a light on the part fiscal exploitation plays in keeping women stuck in household cruelty positions and discovers how people respond when confronted with a chance to aid a victim.

Since 2005, Allstate Foundation Purple Purse has driven over 1 million survivors on the road to security and safety via its learning assets, comprising The Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Moving Ahead course, which provides survivors with the understanding and devices to regain from fiscal exploitation.

Up to the present time, The Allstate Foundation has spent over $55 million to teach the public about fiscal exploitation and to give crucial survivor facilities, comprising fiscal learning, asset-building, job exercise and enthusiasm programs.
