Rocky Mountain Motorsports announces it will run the SRL season finale

FT. COLLINS, CO, USA, October 31: Rocky Mountain Motorsports president Kevin Steinke announced he will be bringing his two-car team for their 2022 SRL debut in the season finale at Irwindale Speedway in California. Said Steinke, “We’ve been working really hard this year with our program and our drivers to be in a position to get to a tour event with the SRL. After we brought home a 2nd and 4th place finish in our season championship, we felt like it was the right time. We don’t take a step like this lightly and we know the quality of teams and drivers that are racing SRL. I’m definitely excited to take this team to California and run at a such a great venue.” The two drivers, Nick Cooper in the 05 and Zach Morris in the 89 will pilot the VanDoorn chassis vehicles. Nick Cooper comes off a stellar season which includes two wins and a number of top five's while his teammate Zach Morris grabbed the Rookie of the Year and the most top 5 finishes. Both drivers showed significant improvement in their second and first year in the series respectively. Nick talked to us about the challenge of going to an SRL event saying, “When we started in the SLM series a couple of years ago, SRL racing seemed a ways away. With the support from Kevin and the RMM team, we’ve completely changed our program and have created a strong relationship with VanDoorn racing and that has really made a big difference. Personally, I’m ready to take on another challenge and SRL is where we’ve set our sights.” The RMM team consists of Kevin and Melissa Steinke, Kristian T Mathisen, Cindy Davies, Randy Jorgensen, Kent Scott, John Carlson, Fred Turner, Donnie and Wes Gregory, Jeff and Brian Groff, Brian and Cade Fox, Nick and Stephanie Cooper, Rick and Zach Morris, Jon Beach, Jack Cooper, Alex Kaminsky, Josh Jeanneret. Solana DeFi Protocols Kamino Finance and Lido Finance Optimize Network Decentralization via Liquid Staking

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, October 31: The decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols Kamino Finance and Lido Finance have developed a novel method to help increase Solana’s decentralization and security. Instead of swapping SOL for stSOL to balance liquidity deposits, Kamino will begin directly staking SOL for stSOL through Lido, increasing the number of SOL delegated to Solana validators. Lido Finance is the biggest liquid staking token platform in all of DeFi. Lido holds the second-highest total value locked (TVL) in DeFi, with over $7 billion in assets staked. Lido’s stSOL is responsible for helping stake over four million SOL tokens with a widening variety of validators that secure Solana’s decentralized network. Kamino Finance provides automated vaults that manage concentrated liquidity positions on Solana. These positions earn fees for users who deposit their tokens to help facilitate trade on Solana’s decentralized exchanges (DEXs), increasing the overall liquidity of DeFi on Solana while providing yield opportunities for all users. Lido allows users to stake their SOL and participate in DeFi with an interest-bearing token, stSOL, representing SOL plus rewards earned from staking, currently at around 5.5% APY. The protocol stakes stSOL’s underlying SOL with validators outside of Solana’s superminority, or the number of parties that must conspire to override the network, which currently stands at 31. “Lido has been a great ecosystem partner,” said Mark Hull, one of Kamino’s core contributors. “We’re thrilled we can help contribute to the amount of staked SOL securing Solana while helping decentralize the network.” Hull said, “Lido’s great effort to ensure that SOL is staked as efficiently as possible runs in parallel with Kamino’s mission to optimize the capital efficiency of DeFi on Solana. The collaboration between Lido and Kamino is a step in the right direction for DeFi composability, decentralization, and adding value to the Solana user experience.” At the time of writing, Kamino’s stSOL-SOL vault earns users about 6% APY from trading fees on Orca’s concentrated liquidity Whirlpools. In addition, users can earn 12% APY from LDO rewards on top of the yield generated from trading activity.

LEICESTER, LEICESTERSHIRE, UNITED KINGDOM, October 31: For those who haven’t heard yet - the new version of ISO 27001 has just been released (25th October 2022). The ISMS standard was first published in 2005, updated in 2013, and has undergone a revamp this year with significant changes to the technical controls described in Annex A. Practically, this means that: - Organisations working towards becoming ISO 27001 certified will (from the release of the new version) be expected to certify to the new version. - Those already ISO 27001 certified will have a 2 year transition window to update their ISMS to meet the requirements of the new version of the Standard. What is ISO 27001? ISO 27001 is an information security standard that sets the bar for developing and maintaining an ISMS. It is an internationally recognised standard that helps companies to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of their information. ISO 27001 is made up of 2 parts: - Management Clauses (4-10); and - Annex A technical controls ISO 27001 Annex A only lists the security controls, it does not explain how to implement them into an ISMS. BUT, fear not! Annex A comes with a sexy sidepiece: ISO 27002 - which basically explains in detail what all the controls in Annex A mean. 27002 provides extensive guidance on HOW the controls can be implemented into an organisation - think Appendix - but not WHAT controls need implementing (again this is ISO 27001). To be clear though, ISO 27001 is the main standard. Organisations can get certified against ISO 27001, but not against ISO 27002. What do ISO 27001:2022 changes look like? We know that the Annex A controls have changed, because ISO 27002:2022 has already been released (remember the sexy sidepiece). From ISO 27002:2022 we can draw a good image of what those controls look like by translating them from ISO 27002:2013 to ISO 27001:2022. The main changes that have taken place so far are: - Security controls in Annex A have been revised - The number of the controls has been reduced from 114 to 93 - Controls have been combined into just 4 sections, rather than the prior 14 - Controls have been merged - rather than deleted - There are 11 new controls The management clauses 4 to 10 remain more or less the same. This is because the clauses 4-10 are more or less the same for all the ISO standards and none of the other ISO standards have undergone revisions. But Annex A is unique to ISO 27001 - it is the only one of the ISO standards with an additional guide attached (ISO 27002). The Clauses 4-10 cover: - Clause 4 - context of organisation - Clause 5 - leadership - Clause 6 - planning - Clause 7 - support - Clause 8 - operation - Clause 9 - performance evaluation - Clause 10 - continued improvement The changes to the Clauses part are minor - they intend to simplify ISO 27001 implementation, making life easier for users - and auditors! What work is required? As described previously, the changes to the standards predominantly concern controls (breathe a sigh of relief!). To begin to prepare for your compliance with these changes, organisations can: - Build a new statement of Applicability based on the new ISO 27002:2022 - Start to map controls from the old Annex A ISO 27002:2013, to the ones that line up with the new Annex A ISO 27002:2022 controls - Notice and keep note of the gaps - as we said before, some of the controls have merged, and there are 11 new ones When does this change need to happen? Those already certified to ISO 27001 will have 2 years from the date of their next audit to complete the transition. There is no reason, however, as to why organisations shouldn’t start this process now. Don’t worry, there is plenty of time to make the required changes. Gates and Inverters:A Basic Functional Module in Digital Circuits

SHENZHEN, GUANGDONG, CHINA, October 31: Inverters are logic gates that implement logical non-switching in digital logic and their function represents the assumption of ideal switching performance in digital circuits, but in actual inverter design, the components have electrical characteristics that require special attention. In fact, the non-ideal transition zone behavior of CMOS inverters allows them to be used as Class A power amplifiers in analog circuits. The output voltage of the inverter circuit represents the opposite logic level to the input. Inverters can be constructed using only NMOS transistors or a PMOS connected to a resistor. Because this "resistive drain" approach requires the use of only one type of transistor, the manufacturing costs are very small. However, since the current flows through the resistor in one of two states, this resistive drain configuration has problems with power consumption and the processing rate of state changes. Alternatively, the inverter can be configured as a CMOS inverter with two complementary transistors. This configuration can significantly reduce power consumption because one of the two transistors is always cut off in one of the two logic states. The processing speed can also be increased because the resistance of CMOS inverters is relatively low compared to NMOS-type and PMOS-type inverters. Inverters can also be constructed in resistor-transistor logic (RTL) or transistor-transistor logic (TTL) using a triode (BJT). Digital Function Module for Gates and Inverters Inverters are basic functional modules in digital circuits. A latch is formed by using the outputs of two serial inverters as inputs to a one-bit register. Sophisticated digital components such as latches, data selectors, decoders, and state machines all require the use of a basic inverter. A six-inverter is an integrated circuit containing six inverters. For example, the 7404 TTL chip has 14 pins and the 4049 CMOS chip has 16 pins. Both chips have 2 pins each for the power supply/reference voltage and 12 pins for the inputs and outputs of the 6 inverters (the 4049 has 2 pins dangling). Applications of Gates and Inverters CMOS inverters are one of the most widely used devices in digital circuit design due to their complementary structure, which consists of an n-MOSFET and a p-MOSFET in a complementary push-pull configuration, with the n-MOSFET acting as the driver (pull-down tube) and the p-MOSFET as the load (pull-up tube). Schematic diagram of the basic CMOS structure containing a p-n-p-n parasitic structure, with the gates of the two transistors connected together as signal inputs; the substrates of the two transistors are each connected to their sources, the source of the n-MOSFET is connected to ground GND and the source of the p-MOSFET is connected to the supply voltage Vdd; the drains of the n-MOSFET and p-MOSFET are connected together as the output of the inverter. In order to fabricate n-MOSFETs and p-MOSFETs in an integrated circuit, an insulated p-substrate region and an n-substrate region must be formed, therefore, CMOS integrated circuits have three processes: n-well, p-well, and double-well. The n-well is then formed, followed by a field oxide and gate oxide layer, impurity injection to form the source-drain region and the highly doped diffusion region, and finally deposition and etching of the metalized electrodes and a degree of passivation protection on the device surface. In this case parasitic n-p-n bipolar transistors Q1 and p-n-p bipolar transistors Q2 are formed inside the CMOS structure, with Rub and Rowell representing the p-substrate and n-trap resistors. In practice, CMOS inverter circuits may also contain other ancillary circuits such as electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuits, latch-up protection circuits, and input Schmitt shaping circuits. There are currently two main methods for experiments on HPM effects: the irradiation method and the injection method. The irradiation method refers to the HPM irradiation of the target electronic system in the form of space electromagnetic waves, and the HPM effect threshold of the electronic system is obtained. The irradiation method is mainly for electronic systems and can more realistically simulate the HPM electromagnetic radiation environment of electronic systems in the actual application environment, which is the most effective means to obtain the HPM effect threshold of the whole electronic system; however, this method also has disadvantages, in order to more realistically simulate the actual situation, the experimental requirements are high: the microwave beam needs to cover the whole target electronic system and irradiate the intensity uniformly, which requires The distance between the microwave source radiation antenna and the effector must not be too small, but usually, the experiment needs to be carried out in a specific microwave darkroom, the experimental space is limited, it is difficult to meet the requirements of uniform irradiation.
