Thesys CAT LLC Reveals Executive Selections and Guidance Progresses
NEW YORK, May 24, 2017 : Thesys CAT LLC , the Thesys
Technologies ancillary functioning as the Plan Processor for the SEC's
Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT), revealed the selection of Edward Watson as
Chief Operating Officer and Shane Swanson as Chief Compliance Officer. Thesys
CAT also stated that Latham & Watkins LLP will assist as legal counsel to
Thesys CAT, steered by Vivian Maese, associate at Latham & Watkins in New
York and Global Co-Chair of the company's Financial Institutions Industry Group
and FinTech Industry Group. Additionally, Mike Beller, CEO of Thesys
Technologies, and Andre Frank, Managing Partner of Thesys Technologies, function
on the Thesys CAT Advisory Committee, which assembles frequently to evaluate development
on the build and application of CAT.
Thesys CAT, in its capability as Plan Processor, is creating
and functioning the CAT system. The CAT NMS Plan gives a timeline for crucial objectives
and deliverables decided upon by the SROs. Thesys CAT newly met the May 15 limit
for approval of the Initial Participant Technical Specifications, which is nowadays
available on the CAT NMS website.

Edward Watson, Thesys CAT's new Chief Operating Officer, is
an experienced finance administrator with over 30 years of knowledge in
finance, managements, and expertise guidance in worldwide monetary facilities.
He has occupied high-ranking level executive positions at Citigroup, BNY
Mellon, FIS/Capco, and Fannie Mae, which he entered succeeding the fiscal disaster
to aid with its reversal approach. As Chief Operating Officer of Thesys CAT, he
will be accountable for tactical development and day to day actions. Ed possesses
a Bachelor’s of Science degree in accounting from St. John's University along
with a Masters of Business Administration from Hofstra University.
Shane Swanson, Thesys CAT's new Chief Compliance Officer, is
a veteran monetary facilities frontrunner, General Counsel and Compliance
Officer. He most newly worked as Director of U.S. Market Structure at Citadel. Before
that he was at Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. as Managing Director and CEO of
Automated Trading Desk Financial Services, LLC. Shane was also Partner, General
Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer of Eladian Partners LP. While at Eladian, Swanson launched a comprehensive
legal and compliance infrastructure and possessed regional and global functioning,
supervisory, and legal-focused positions.

Watkins is counselling the Thesys Technologies squad on legal, authority and
compliance-related topics.
