Minister of State and QFZA Chairman Leads a State Delegation to India, Reaffirms Dedication to Market

H.E. Ahmad Al Sayed, Minister of State and Chairman of Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZA), led a state delegation to Raisina Dialogue Forum in New Delhi, a multilateral forum on global policy matters.

  • Numerous top policymakers from all over the globe participated in Raisina Dialogue, which maps the directions and policies for the subsequent decade
  • QFZA took part in a panel on the business expansion of the East Indian Ocean region
  • QFZA also took part in PlastiVision, the biggest global trade show for plastic products in Mumbai.
  •  As component of this programme, H.E. Ahmad Al Sayed, Minister of State and Chairman of QFZA, participated in a panel on Thursday to deliberate on “Junction India: Towards an East Indian Ocean Community for Growth.” On the sidelines of the programme, H.E. also held consultations with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, as well as an array of top Indian companies.

Another QFZA delegation is taking part in PlastiVision India 2020 in Mumbai, the 11th iteration of India’s biggest plastic, technology-oriented and innovation-propelled business exhibition. This programme tries to bring the total plastic industry under one roof, giving a platform for businesses to exhibit their products, discover innovations, network and grow with new distributors, retailers, retail chains, importers and exporters.

QFZA’s booth will exhibit some of the smart solutions that investors will have access to when starting their businesses in the free zones. As component of the event, a QFZA representative will give a presentation on investing in Qatar and the scopes obtainable in Qatar Free Zones, showcasing the varied benefits for plastics and plastic products manufacturers. In line with Qatar and India’s wider bilateral trade objectives, QFZA is specifically concentrated on expanding partnerships in the spheres of ICT, energy, business, infrastructure, research, sports and tourism, among other areas.
